The School Curriculum

Here at Newbold Verdon Primary School we place an emphasis on the teaching of reading, writing and mathematics. Through the use of a creative curriculum other areas are taught that allow skills appropriate to the age range and have a history or geography bias. Since September 2014 we have been using the new National Curriculum guidelines to support our planning. Occasionally subjects such as music and PE are taught as discrete elements. A curricular newsletter is sent to all parents at the beginning of each term
