School Information
Newbold Verdon Primary School is a one-form entry village primary school. We have a wonderful preschool for children aged 3 and above. Many children enter the main school from the preschool each year, but securing a place in the preschool does not guarantee a place in the main school. In addition to the main school, we also have a 24-place Autism Unit. This adds significantly to the inclusive nature of our school and enhances our appreciation of uniqueness and empathy.
Applications to our preschool are handled entirely by the school.
Admissions to the main school are handled by Leicestershire County Council.
Children then continue their journey through our school, moving from the infants into the juniors. They leave us at the end of year 6 as aspirational, curious and courageous individuals; bursting with questions and answers, ready to begin the next part of their journey.
