Extra-curricular activities are an important part of life at Newbold Verdon Primary School. A range of activities are offered to all children throughout their time at our school.

Although children take part in activities for fun and enjoyment, we feel they play an important part in the education of a child. Commitment, perseverance and working as a team are all important life skills.

Clubs offered vary throughout the year and include: Lunchtime Clubs, Girls and Boys Football, Tag-Rugby, Multi-Skills, Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ), Dance, Gardening, Homework Clubs, Forest School, Social Clubs and a host of other PE clubs.  

We have a field and a playground, as well as an indoor hall and a studio, which are used throughout the day and for after school clubs.

In addition to school-run clubs, as of September 2022, we also offer wrap-around care which offers children a variety of their own activities to take part in.
